There is nothing wrong with spanking. Spanking and Abuse are two totally different things. If you don't leave physical markings behind like bruises, welts, etc. Its not abuse. And for thsoe who say 'well the child doesn't want to be spanked' I'm a 14 almost 15 year old girl and I agree with spanking. I've spanked two of my little cousins before, I have permisson by the way. And they are still fine. I don't go over board and crazy with it, I gave them swats on the butt to tell them not to throw a tantrum in public and not to go into a dangerous, falling apart building. And with the quote I gave a few lines up, no child wants nay form of punishment, whether its a spanking, timeout, grounding, or taking away there toys. The others don't always work, My big brother would get timeouts and grounded and just figure out that he got out or got his things back when was good. But when he got spanked he thought 'i don't like spanking. It hurts (As in stings) so I won't spray paint a car again' so he didn't. Duh. Sometimes other punishments work but not always.
