I don't understand how anyone can think they have the right to tell someone they can't give up their child. Of course it should always be considered a last resort, but telling someone they should keep their baby is wrong. You're entitled to your opinion, but in such cases I think unless someone asks for it, you should keep it to yourself. Having a child is a big, not to mention dangerous decision to make. You could be putting your's and the baby's life in danger. And people refer to it as giving life because that's exactly what it it. You're not just miraculously producing a child, you're giving it a bit of you. And if you don't feel comfortable with that, you shouldn't have to go through it. Now, of course, there should be boundaries, such as the 12 week rule etc. But really I don't see how anyone can think it's okay to tell someone they should risk their life for something not even as developed as a tadpole.
