if you care about this country then you should be hoping Obama gets re-elected. Each and every other candidate so far has promised nothing but to take us backwards and to destroy what is left of the middle class and working poor by making the rich richer, and elliminating any types of control on how our environment is treated, how corporations treat employees, and how a person of modest or no means is treated in society.

@Cadee...Unfortunately it WAS the Republicans that created this mess in the first place and to go back to that because a president hasn't been able to fix everything in 2 1/2 yrs. is lunacy. Yes things are still bad for a majority of Americans but things had the potential to be a hell of a lot worse. As for Obama being effective, I think it would be fair to say he would grade out at a "C" - "C+" at best. But the effectiveness of a president is often contingent upon the co-operation he gets from Congress.
and @MrX, everytime I hear the word righteous associated with Politics I get the hebejeebees. Your scary.

I disagree. I think the american people have seen that there was no good "change" and that the nation is in the worst state it has been in history. Don't vote for Obama in 2012.

I think Obama has been an ineffective president. I voted for him, based on what he promised us. He FAILED to deliver. More Americans are out of work than ever before, more Americans have lost their homes and are unable to feed their families. America has become "weak" in the eyes of our world under Obama. He can "talk the talk, but he has failed to walk the walk". It is time for change. The Republicans can't do more damage to our country than Obama has done.

I totally disagree. Obama is going to lose and the righteous party will regain control of the office.
If Obama wins i think i might die, not only has he practically ruined the country, but all of his proposals include spending spending spending with little reward to anyone. It might help some people like 1 out of every 100 but it hurts everyone else. with his new reducing debt bill he plans two release how are we going to pay it he says that the rich people should be taxed. If i had to decide nothing would happen better to do nothing than to hurt. The country is screaming out for a new leader and someone has to deliver. I don't care who it is but if it's not Obama the country is sure to benefit.

This Justin; How many more years are you going to blame the Republicans for the CONTINUAL damage being done to our country. Obama ran on the platform of CHANGE. Yes, there is change - for the WORSE! The Democrats have been in power for the past few years and all we see is destruction and loss. What world do you live in. Where are the laws for a better environment, better work conditions (There are NO jobs), better life for the middle class. Are you kidding me? I am a Democrat and there is no way I plan to put Obama back in power. Remember when the Republicans were in we had a Democratic congress! Washington is all about talk and no action. Our government officials are there for themselves and not the people that they are to represent.

Obama increased our debt load and still insists that the thing to do is create more government programs. I agree that the Republican party needs to provide better candidates. Hopefully Ron Paul can get himself on the ticket. We need to decrease the presence of government and cut down on our deficit, it is plain and simple.
