Anyone who think that the producers of Sesame Street, a show that is on PBS is most areas, would even think about putting gay characters on the show is dumber that a bag of hammers.

I assume the online petition was created by a vastly homosexual crowd. Listen....I'm a firm believer in "the heart wants what the heart wants." I have gay friends and haven't passed judgment on any of them. However, whomever is responsible for this online petition needs to realize that some things need to remain sacred. There is a reason why Sherry Lewis never jumped Lamb Chop's bones. There is a reason why Santa Claus was never written to have made jerky out of Prancer.

Some things should never be touched. Bert and Ernie are one (or two) of them.

Wow. Give me a break! Bert and Ernie are not gay. It is a great childrens show with good moral values. Why is it that if two guys are good friends, they are assumed to be gay. It's not like Bert and Ernie are holding hands, talking gay, and acting like it. This is a good kids show and that is all.

I cannot believe some people think they are gay. that is rediculous.
